Hello! I am Fion and I'm delighted to have a chance to share my story here. Content 2.0 has helped to automate my traffic growth and turn me into an editor for my website. :) When I began my inspirational quotes and poems website in December 2005, for the first two years I spent many long hours compiling quotes and creating new content.
It was tedious at times, but I have a passion for this topic and that kept me going. My traffic was already snowballing before I introduced C2, but I didn't want to be the one to constantly compile, write and hunt for fresh content in the long run.
Sometime towards end of 2007, I began to add C2. I figured it might just be the tool to help put my website on autopilot mode by providing it with a steady stream of fresh content, without me having to do all the work. I imagined that if site visitors could start contributing their works, it might help to free me up to concentrate on something else.
My first invitation was to invite visitors to submit their own original inspiring stories and poems. Surprisingly, the response wasn't good despite the site having good traffic numbers then and for a while, I wondered if C2 was going to work for my site. I didn't let it bother me too much and continued to add another invitation for visitors to submit their own original inspiring quotes.
Bit by bit over time, as my site traffic continued to grow, the number of submissions also increased. Interestingly, I started to see more quality submissions and comments from readers.
There were a few occasions where I published submissions that I felt were on the borderline, and sure enough, sharp comments to those submissions came in fairly quickly to let me know in a clear way it was a bad idea to publish those! I've since become more alert and decisive in approving submissions. These days, if I don't feel good about a submission or have a funny feeling about it, I'll usually delete it. If not, I'll be troubling my site visitors to point it out to me. ;)
I've also found that it's important for me to moderate my comments. I used to let the comments go live the moment the visitor hit the Submit button. But once there was an upset contributor who contacted me to let me know her feeling was hurt by a bad comment. From then on, I chose the option to approve the comments before they go live on my website. This way, I can ensure that I catch the rude, hurtful or incomprehensible comments before they have a chance to be seen by others and protect my contributors' feelings.
I'm so glad that over time C2 began to work very well for my quotes website. It took patience but it paid off. I've learned that it's not going to be an instant success because it doesn't mean that once you put out an invitation for visitors' submissions, the submissions are going to roll in in large numbers. I've also learned that it depends on your traffic (in my case I needed a large number of traffic to trigger more submissions), niche (some niches naturally get people wanting to have their say or ask their questions) and the kind of invitations (it's through trial and error that you figure out how to stir your visitors enough to want to contribute to your site).
It's very much worth the wait for C2 to show results for my website. From the handful of submissions in the beginning, C2 has grown on my website and I now have well over 1,000 submissions of quotes, poems, stories and messages, with more on the way. If I were still compiling my own quotes pages, I would never have achieved this amazing number of pages in two years!
Once C2 built momentum, it's such a fantastic helper as my site visitors are now building free content for my site and they seem to enjoy doing so. While I offer people around the world a platform to share their original writings, their contributions allow me to focus on being an editor. I now spend my time reviewing and editing the growing number of submissions and I do that once a week.
The site traffic has continued to grow and I believe for the last two years, C2 is a big contributing factor and I've more than tripled my site traffic. Nothing super creative and nothing fanciful, just simple contributions from visitors that keep my website up-to-date and the search engines seem to love an active website.
I know there's many big and established quotes websites out there with their large quote databases. I won't be able to compete with them based on my relatively small collection of selective, inspiring quotes. But with C2, I'm able to offer new and fresh original quotes shared by ordinary people with something inspiring to share and say, on a continual basis.
I really appreciate my wonderful site visitors for contributing and adding valuable content to my website. And I'm very thankful that SBI has released such a clever and invaluable tool (which now comes at an unbeatable price - FREE as part of your SBI package) that sends my site traffic soaring!
Thank you so much!

You will notice a common thread here... These people simply do it. They have "BAM"...Brain (knowledge of something) Attitude (positive) Motivation" (willing to work).
BAM is the key ingredient that you must add to SBI!. To elaborate...
"Brain" does not mean "brainy." It means they have, or have developed, knowledge in a niche (perhaps from a hobby, job, other life experience).
"Attitude" means they are positive, optimistic people who work well with others (this is why the SBI! Forums are unmatched in the small e-business world).
"Motivation" means they want to build a business and take control of their lives enough to sacrifice some leisure activities.
We point this out because we do not want to falsely raise your expectations. SBI! does not deliver "automatic success." Nothing can.
Your degree of success depends on your own level of "BAM," upon how much time you devote to building your Web business, and upon following the process correctly (every successful SBIer will tell you, "Follow the Action Guide").
SBI! does deliver what it promises... your best chance at e-business success. SBI! works... if you work it.
