C2 on a Travel Website - There are so many Options!

I started C2 quite a few months ago on one of my two travel sites. I was always sure this could work well on a travel website as there are so many ways it can be used.

I have a long list of ideas for using C2 and now it is free - thank you Ken and SBI. I have put up several pages and have added an index page so contributors can choose which page works best with their topic. This will save me time while they can find their page easily.

I have also decided it is better for me to add some information on a C2 page rather than in the body of my site. I can add a winery review, or an article about a New Zealand walk or activity. People can comment and become involved...and write their own story.

Recently, one lady has come back three times and added very interesting articles on her travels in New Zealand.

Another contributor added an interesting article from the perspective of a Guide for Walks in Northland. As one other person in this forum noted, it may work best to invite people like my guide to contribute. It is an article, but also a form of advertising - telling people about their product or service. This helps us both, and my readers.

This year I will be making C2 my major focus with my websites. It just seems such a logical way to grow your site. Another bonus is the interaction with the contributors.

Once I have the formula that works for me, I expect the snowball effect will do its magic....as the pages are certainly well-read!
