Content 2.0 - Building Credibility Online By Providing Value

I provide a lot of valuable information on my SBI site, TendonitisExpert.com, and a viewpoint people who suffer from Tendonitis likely won't see anywhere else.

I used Content 2.0 to create an "Ask the Tendonitis Expert" section on my site and I answer each and every one of the questions I receive.

In much less than a year, I'm at right about 300 submissions. At least 50% of them have ongoing conversations, which means even more content. And 300 submissions = 300 new pages to my website.

Before C2, I had been answering visitor questions over email. That's a lot of work with nobody seeing it other than the recipient. Now, I have 300 pages drawing in traffic and helping others learn to get out of pain.

And these pages continually draw in traffic. My very first pages are still pulling traffic. Some more, some less.

One of my favorites because of it's title/name, was one of my top ten entry pages for two months, and is still in my top 50:

Tendonitis of the Butt! That's what the submitter named the page! I never would have come up with that! Who knew that would pull in so much traffic month after month?

I sell DVD's and e-books and I also sell stuff(tm) on my site.

While my products are visible, they don't sell themselves and my sales pages don't perform that well on my own. To someone surfing the web for answers, I'm just another guy/website selling something with promises of results.

A lot of my sales come after interacting with someone on my Content 2.0 Question and Answer submission section.

People get a chance to talk with me, interact with me, and see how much value I provide them. If they get value, that creates credibility and trust.

Buying online requires a measure of trust from your visitor. My Content 2.0 section helps to build that trust. It's worth it to me to help people out the best I can regardless of whether they buy or not.

Content 2.0 takes work, but my traffic keeps growing.
