When Content 2.0 came out, I immediately thought it had great potential and was well worth spending the money for. It took a great deal of experimenting on my site, looking for a formula that worked and now that it's free, what a bargain for all SBI-ers! If you aren't trying it, you are missing out.

Best thing is, it creates loyal fans who come back time and time again. Those who post come back to check out the comments and become RESIDUAL SITE VISITORS.

What worked for me was using C2 as a free advertising tool with For Sale and Wanted advertising on my site. People advertise for free (that's a great hook) and that section has gone to over a 1000 posts and growing.

Even while many posts don't meet the ideal word length, if you combine these with the responses, the tail grows longer and it encourages cross- communication between people so it works well as a social idea also. I also used C2 for getting people to advertise or post details of their bed and breakfast accommodation directory and now they are starting to add images as well.

A directory of services is a great resource for visitors, while people and businesses love free advertising. So it's a great business to business idea as well.
